Argentina recibe constantemente la visita de ciudadanos de países limítrofes. Hoy nos pondremos a repasar qué es lo que provoca tanta atracción por parte de estos países vecinos.

Cuando se piensa en este punto cardinal una de las primeras palabras que surge es fútbol. Los argentinos son muy apasionados por este deporte, al punto tal que al recorrer las ciudades y pueblos uno puede encontrarse con gente practicándolo en las más diversas horas del día (o de la noche). Son numerosos los clubes, así como también las canchas profesionales o de “fútbol 5” (su variante para pocos jugadores y a realizarse en un lapso menor).

Asistir a un partido de fútbol es un espectáculo en sí mismo, y las escuelas de dicho deporte que se encuentran en la capital del país son de una calidad tal que es sabido por todos que generan jugadores de prestigio internacional.

El tango es otro punto fuerte. Esta música particular y seductora se cubre de un manto de misterio al desarrollarse en las pistas de baile, y tienta a probar unos pasos aún a aquellos que no poseen ninguna experiencia en él.

Este género musical en la actualidad puede escucharse en múltiples variantes, desde orquestas típicas a pequeñas agrupaciones con guitarras clásicas, pasando por una ajironada y en creciente popularidad mirada: el tango electrónico.

Continuando con las manifestaciones artísticas, en los últimos años la industria del cine ha tenido un enorme crecimiento, tanto como en la cantidad de películas producidas como en la calidad de las mismas, evidenciado en 2010 cuando “El secreto de sus ojos” ganó el Oscar a la Mejor película extranjera. Buenos Aires y otros centros urbanos desde entonces han sido y son sede de múltiples  festivales de cine, seminarios, congresos, y jornadas alrededor de los diversos aspectos de esta actividad, contando con invitados de renombre.

La ciudad de Buenos Aires cuenta también con numerosos museos de importancia. Ya sean de historia o de arte, importantes colecciones se exhiben en todo momento del año y atraen a numerosos visitantes por el alto valor cultural de las muestras.

En cuanto a la gastronomía, la carne que se produce en la Argentina es de primerísima calidad debido a que el ganado vacuno se engorda a través del pastoreo. Al recorrer el país es inevitable que nuestra atención sea captada por las extensiones de tierras dedicadas a esta actividad, y la cantidad de animales que son criados para tal fin. Hereford y Holando-Argentina son las razas más frecuentes. Pueden degustarse en cualquier restaurant y a un bajo precio debido a la naturaleza abundante de su producción. Su forma típica de preparación es el “Asado”, en el cuál se cocina la carne a leña durante varias horas, luego se acompaña con vino tinto, siendo el postre más tradicional el “pastelito”, una masa frita rellena de dulce de membrillo.

Desde el punto de vista geográfico, la gran extensión de territorio que conforma al país hace que incluya variados paisajes. Desde las Cataratas del Iguazú en el norte, al Glaciar Perito Moreno en el sur, pasando por las Ruinas de San Ignacio y las playas de la provincia de Buenos Aires, entre otros, hacen que en un mismo viaje puedan recorrerse los más variados escenarios.

Un aspecto de interés definitivo a los ojos de los países limítrofes es que la Argentina, luego de la crisis de 2001, ha conseguido lograr y conservar cierta estabilidad económica y laboral de sus trabajadores. Este elemento de resurgir de las situaciones adversas es una característica que también se encuentra en la personalidad de los argentinos y que resulta muy atractiva a los ojos de los extranjeros. Una frase popular frecuentemente escuchada es: “lo atamos con alambre”, y hace referencia a la iniciativa de buscar soluciones, aunque éstas no sean más que puntos de partida muy sencillos y básicos.

Por estos aspectos y otros tantos, muchos eligen la Argentina como su lugar de residencia, integrándose a la sociedad preexistente, y esto enriquece aún más a una cultura distinguida por ser la amalgama de varios otros orígenes que se remontan a la época de la colonia.
